- We believe that all
Labs deserve a chance for a good home with a loving environment.
- We believe that we
can make a difference by providing the opportunity for rescued Labs
to be placed in new homes.
- We believe that we
can make a difference by providing information about Labrador Retrievers
to the general public, particularly "WHAT’S IT LIKE TO HAVE A LAB?"
- We believe that YOU
can make a difference by ensuring that you are fully aware of WHAT’S
IT LIKE TO HAVE A LAB BEFORE you are "owned" by one so that
your Lab doesn’t need to be rescued in the future.
- We believe that YOU
can make a difference by ensuring that your Lab is spayed or neutered
to prevent the rescue of unwanted Labs in the future.
RESCUE BENEFITS
- Calgary Purebred Labrador
Retriever Rescue tries to ensure that all rescued Labrador Retrievers who are
given up by their owners are given the chance to find a new and loving home elsewhere.
The average age of the dogs we help to place is 2 to 5years old but
occasionally we get younger dogs too.
- Calgary Purebred Labrador
Retriever Rescue provides information to anyone who is interested in
Labrador Retrievers and who may have questions about what it is really
like to be owned by a Lab.
- Calgary Purebred
Labrador Retriever Rescue ensures that all "rescue" Labs have
current vaccinations, are healthy, spayed or neutered and have been
screened with regard to "temperament" before being placed
in a new home.
- Calgary Purebred
Labrador Retriever Rescue work is based solely on donations from owners
who place their Labs with us for adoption and from adoptive owners of
rescued Labs. Calgary Purebred Labrador Retriever Rescue does not make
a profit on the work we do but only asks for appropriate donations necessary
to cover our costs. These costs can vary from animal to animal. More
information on these costs can be provided to you by one of our Lab
Rescue contacts.
